Founded by Joseph Samaan, Tanweer Studios began in 1986 as the first provider of localization services in the Middle East. The company has come a long way since then, currently owning and operating 21 studios in 4 countries and translating directly into multiple languages. Tanweer provides localization services in Arabic (all accents) and Greek.

All projects are handled through our own studios, meaning that we do not outsource work to third party vendors. This is done in order to ensure that high security measures as well as premium quality standards are maintained. Specifically, our studios have digital and physical security requirements as established by MPA and CDSA, and we have completed TPN-on site audits.

Our vision is to continue expanding our studios globally either through acquisitions, building new studios or creating new partnerships. We strive to improve our methods and services continuously, attending all major markets and staying updated with the latest trends in the industry.
